Join thousands of eager Yard Sale shoppers throughout Southside Neighborhood on Saturday the 7th of September. (The 3000 citizens of the Tree Streets always hold the Yard Sale on the weekend after Labor Day, because of EMS/911 requests to avoid Race Weekend and Labor Day weekend.)
The good hard working people of Southside Neighborhood will be delighted to offer you a great deal on all kinds of equipment, antiques, and clothing. Know that you are often helping working families meet their rising expenses at the same time that you are acquiring new treasures for yourself.
The main action occurs Saturday morning and midday until about 3PM, when most sellers begin to call it quits. However, isolated sales often occur from Friday through Sunday.
Parking is always a problem. Try your luck in ETSU parking lots, nearby downtown lots, and along Walnut Street. A few lucky shoppers find spaces along Maple, Pine, Locust, Poplar, Boyd, Southwest, Franklin, etc. Parking on the higher elevation streets is seldom a problem.
